Quotes from
Past
Award Winners
"The information received through
the Employee Opinion Survey provided us with a snapshot of the
organization, allowing us to clearly and quickly recognize areas of
strengths and immediate areas for improvement. Without the survey
results, the lengthy, time consuming process of identifying these
opportunities may have left us at a disadvantage in the industry."
Merrill S. Wall, EVP/Director of Human Resources, California Bank
& Trust
"It’s wonderful to know from staffs’ anonymous comments, where we do
exceptionally well and where we can improve. Knowing exactly where we
need to improve allows us to keep this “top of mind” as it becomes part
of strategic plan with everyone and showing how we all are part of that
(through actual numbers) makes everyone part of the organization and
it’s success."
DeeAnne Cloke, VP HRD, Columbia Credit Union

"The employee opinion survey has
helped us better understand our organizational culture, acknowledge what
we do well, and identify and address employee concerns, which has led to
a variety of workplace improvements. Not only has our management team
demonstrated commitment to improvements, our staff has been engaged in
the improvement process and empowered to be part of the solution."
Paul Van Dolah, EVP and COO, Children's Hospital and Health Center

"Simply asking all employees how they feel about a variety of issues
reinforces that we are a company that cares about and values their
opinions. The survey offered everyone a confidential way to communicate
their feelings. It also gave management a tangible understanding of what
we do well and where we can improve. The key is how we've acted and will
continue to act on the information."
David Caligaris, President and COO, The Green Companies
